Delete in the Ori app
Open Settings, tap the account button showing your email address, then under Privacy & Data tap Delete account. Ori will remove your login, profile, food diary, weights, goals, saved foods, weekly suggestions, settings, and cloud backup.
Cancel a renewing subscription first
Deleting an app account cannot cancel billing controlled by Apple or Google. If Premium is set to renew, Ori will ask you to cancel renewal first. You can delete immediately afterwards and do not need to wait for the paid period to end.
No longer have the app?
Email hello@heyori.app from the address used for your Ori account. We will verify ownership before acting and respond within one month.
Free tasters do not reset
Deleting and recreating an account does not grant another set of free AI tasters. Ori keeps a protected one-way hash of the account email for 365 days for this purpose. The record does not contain the raw email and contains no food, weight, photo, or conversation data. It never prevents you creating an account, using the normal app, or buying or restoring Premium.
Limited records we must retain
Your accepted Terms, Privacy, health-consent, and disclaimer versions and timestamps are kept in a service-only pseudonymous archive for seven years from acceptance, then automatically deleted. This is retained for legal accountability; your health and product data is not included.
Model-improvement data
Model improvement is optional and off by default. If you opted in, deleting your account removes your consent and all account records that contributed to future model training. Ori does not keep a detached copy of your health-data time series after deletion. Previously released model versions and anonymous overall statistics cannot be individually rolled back.
